Make sure that:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">you can use your phone on <strong><em>Wi-fi<\/em><\/strong> (Whatsapp, Skype etc). In general, free wifi can be found everywhere (there is no country visited where I could not find wi-fi for free &#8211; hotel, cafes, etc.).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">if you need to receive \/ make normal voice calls (GSM) or you want access to mobile data, then check if you have <strong><em>roaming option active<\/em><\/strong>. Then see if you have <strong><em>included minutes \/ roaming data<\/em><\/strong> in your card&#8217;s subscription \/ option. This you can check at the mobile phone operator where you have the subscription (prepaid\/postpaid).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">there are some more <strong><em>subscription and card extra options<\/em><\/strong>, which can reduce your costs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another cheap option (especially if you stay for more than a few days) is to buy one <strong><em>local SIM card with data included<\/em><\/strong>. Most of the time it costs somewhere between 10-20 euros (with SIM and data for a month) and you can use anywhere your apps.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">and with this we move on to the orientation: <strong><em>the phone<\/em><\/strong> helps you when you have mobile data active&#8230; or it all gets more complicated when you only have wifi at your disposal. Any application for guidance (Waze, Google Maps, etc) needs, in addition to GPS connection, data. So if you want to use it to move you need\u00a0<strong><em>mobile data<\/em><\/strong> too.
