Personal development – what else can you do?
Our life is a continuing evolution. Without that, everything would be without brilliance … boring. Whether we are still in school or we have been working for 20 years, the lack of continuous personal development is easy to see: all around is changing and obliging us to do it. Or…
Personal development is part of our lives and, depending on how much we want it, changes us during time passage.
We know that without doing anything new, without learning something new, without getting out of the comfort zone, we get … to be no longer useful in this life. Nature does not need us anymore. Especially now, I’l say, starting with the 21st century. Technological development, interconnection, artificial intelligence, and many others have an exponential evolution. Which also requires us to make changes. Our children are already in this area fortunately. 🙂
In fact, we are approaching the normality of our species: life means evolution – and that is accomplished through continuous personal development.
Okay, and what to do?
Well, first of all, understand and accept this situation. 30-40 years ago it was well enough to do a college after which some specialization courses – who did it. Now, that’s totally inadequate.
Then, to do something. Just to see the situation resigned: “I’m already 50 years old, I’m living through life, I will not do anything for personal development now, what can I use it for?” It’s like accepting that you got into the pit. I mean, in the final stage of life. We know, it sounds a bit cruel, but it is what it is. I said “50” to say “40”, that we have seen enough of this kind of situation, unfortunately. Even below 🙁 🙁 🙁
We have participate, we are and will continue to participate regularly in various courses, workshops, events … etc of personal development. Reason for which, in addition to what we support and where you can sign up here and here, we recommend others that we know, where we have participated or which we consider to be of interest.
Which can be accessed here. 😉
